Ceiling Fan Installation

August 11, 2010

Ceiling Fan Installation Mr. Handyman TechnicianStay Cool with a new ceiling fan this summer.

Ceiling fans are an energy efficient way to beat the summer heat. If possible, the ceiling fan should be anchored to a ceiling joist. In the case that the joist is not located in the center of the room, a special ceiling fan mounting bracket with spiked ends should beinstalled between joists. Keep in mind that ceiling fans can weigh as much as 50 pounds, so feel free to call Mr. Handyman if you need help with installation.
